Telegram softphone allows you to receive and make calls from your SIP phone number in Telegram. Works with any SIP number, mobile, work or landline, in any country.

Significantly saves battery power on mobile devices and allows you to always be in touch with any application Telegram. During calls, you can use a second line, transfer and hold calls.
To set up, you will need your SIP account details, which will need to be transferred to our bot @siptg_bot. A SIP account is purchased from one of the many telecom operators, or issued by the administrator of your corporate PBX.

Refer to @siptg_bot, go to mode /softphone

Click the “New” button and specify the details of the connected SIP account
Usually it is enough to specify a login, password, server (optionally a domain with a port) and/or select the Server Template of your telecom operator or the type of PBX used.

Allow incoming calls from account @siptg
In Telegram settings, go to the appropriate section:
☰ → Settings → Privacy → Calls → Always allow → Add → @siptg (SIP.TG calls)

After setting the settings, send any message to the @siptg account to explicitly activate the privacy settings; you can ignore the response from the robot.

After checking the work on the free tariff, all you have to do is pay for the Softphone-Start or Softphone-Business tariff
You can test the operation of the softphone by calling the number of the connected SIP account (the call should come on behalf of the @siptg account) or by sending a number to make a call to the @siptg account (you will receive a call back or an offer to call the @siptg account yourself).

Features of the Telegram softphone SIP.TG

  • You can simultaneously set up and receive calls from several SIP accounts (including from different telecom operators) through the @siptg account. The number of simultaneously active accounts is determined in the settings of the connected tariff (1, 3, 10 and up to 1000).

  • If the user has several configured SIP accounts, when making an outgoing call through the @siptg account, they will be prompted to select the one they need.

  • SMS messages are not transmitted.

Tariff selection

You can pay for the Telegram softphone after checking its functionality using the Free or Trial tariffs.

Free (connected by default)
  • only 1 number (1 SIP account)
  • maximum 2 minutes call duration
  • maximum 30 minutes per month in total

Trial
  • 100 rubles for 1 week
  • up to 10 numbers (SIP accounts)
  • Active 1 week
  • Can only connect 1 time

To pay for use after testing, a tariff is used Softphone-Start or Softphone-Business, the cost is calculated based on the number of required SIP accounts.

The Softphone-Start tariff (up to 10 SIP accounts) can be activated independently. If necessary, the maximum number of accounts can be increased upon request.

To connect to the Softphone-Business tariff (from 20 accounts) and calculate its cost, please contact Support. The Softphone-Business tariff provides priority technical support and consultations at the implementation stage.

Payment order

To pay the tariff you must:

  • go to section /tariff bot @siptg_bot
  • select a tariff for the softphone, go to tariff settings
  • specify the required parameters
— required number of SIP accounts
— payment term in months (from 1 to 12)
- payment method

  • click on the “Start payment” button, follow the instructions of the payment widget
